#Build2Earn

Contributors are individuals or enterprises that contribute to the development of the WalletD SDK, as well as the WD token ecosystem.

The primary contributors and guardians of the SDK are Maintainers. Maintainers possess elevated privileges within the development workflow, such as issue triage (tagging or closing reported issues) and PR management (accepting pull requests for evaluation by reviewers and ensuring adherence to PR guidelines). Initially, the WalletD core team will assume this role, but eventually, maintainers will be determined based on a threshold of delegated support.

While maintainers play a crucial role, the project relies on contributions from anyone passionate about building a robust and secure wallet SDK. Reporting bugs, testing and reviewing pull requests and writing documentation are all necessary contributions and eligible for WD rewards.

Contributors are rewarded with WD Tokens proportional to their contributions. Rewards are assigned to feature requests and bugs at monthly prioritisation governance votes, proportional to the number of votes they receive. Contributors are distributed the assigned WD reward once their pull request has successfully passed code review. To ensure the project remains responsive to critical needs that emerge between governance cycles, maintainers have the discretion to allocate WD tokens for expedited deliverables.

WD can also be allocated to issues, features and proposed integrations directly by Sponsors. For example, swap provider ‘Swapper’ could sponsor the ‘Create Swapper integration” feature to fast track its development. Sponsoring provides SDK users a mechanism to ‘skip the line’ outside of governance-determined priorities and ecosystem rewards.
